CEISMC Partners
A number of companies share CEISMC's vision to better K-12 education in the state of Georgia. Here a few of our
featured partner organizations:
Georgia Department of Education
It goes without saying that we value our relationship with the GA DOE as a partner in bettering the state of Georgia K-12 education.
Georgia's Leadership Institute for School Improvement
CEISMC is proud to work (and share office space) with GLISI. From the GLISI homepage: "Our leadership development programs develop capacity and willingness to lead continuous school improvement. Discover Leadership Development opportunities on our Learning Pathways. We work with stakeholders in school improvement to advocate for policy changes that support getting and keeping high quality educational leaders for Georgia's schools. We use research-based practices to develop models that define and analyze the evolving work of Educational Leadership and to continuously improve our approaches. We work to build collaborative relationships, partnerships and learning communities of educational leaders, business and community leaders, higher education and the community to ensure the success of students and educational leaders in Georgia."
The Georgia Science Teachers Association
CEISMC proudly hosted the GSTA homepage before that organization found its own permanent digs. From their homepage: "The Georgia Science Teachers Association is an incorporated non-profit association of professional science teachers whose primary aims shall be to encourage the development of science interests and abilities as a vital part of the total educational development of the students."
The National Science Foundation
For a long time CEISMC has enjoyed a close relationship with the NSF. From their website: "The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…" With an annual budget of about $5.5 billion, we are the funding source for approximately 20 percent of all federally supported basic research conducted by America's colleges and universities."
