Amphibia Web ('M' 'H')
Great search tool for amphibian information, and especially for
amphibian declines throughout the world. According to their web
site, "Amphibia Web already offers ready access to taxonomic
information for every recognized species of amphibian in the world"
and this includes species lists, reasons for declines, photos, and
frog calls. "Watch List" included. Part of the Digital Library
Project at the University of California, Berkeley.

Declining Amphibian Populations Task Force (DAPTF) Home Pages
('H')
Declining numbers of amphibians has been a growing concern to
scientists, as the causes are not fully understood. This site takes
a look at the significance of their falling numbers, and
disseminates the latest research into the mystery.

Frog Dissection (Interactive) : An Online Tutorial ('H')
Designed for use in high school biology classrooms. Title tells all.
This online tutorial has become a classic. There are now two
versions.

Frog Dissection Kit (Virtual), Version 2.0 ('H')
Part of the "Whole Frog" Project. this rich site allows
interactive dissection of a frog, including the capability to make
on-the-fly movies ("24,000 possible movies, four for each possible
organ combination"), and play the Virtual Frog Builder Game ("game
tests your knowledge of the 3D spatial relationships between the
organs in the frog"). By the Ernest Orlando Lawrence Berkeley
National Laboratory.

In their words "The goal of the Whole Frog Project is to provide
high school biology classes the ability to explore the anatomy of a
frog by using data from high resolution MRI imaging and from
mechanical sectioning, together with 3D surface and volume rendering
software to visualize the anatomical structures of the intact
animal."
