The CEISMC/BP Amoco
Foundation interactive web site "The Family Learning Nook: Families Exploring Science and Math"
project is funded by Amoco Foundation and created at
CEISMC. The project is currently in a beta phase and is to be treated as a work in a progress. Any feedback or input you wish to provide on this developing project would be greatly appreciated. You may send it to Andrew Kerr at andrew.kerr@ceismc.gatech.edu.
There
are two primary goals for this project. The first is
to develop a web-based learning tool that encourages
the participation of all students, particularly
those groups who are often underserved and
underrepresented in scientific, mathematical, and
engineering fields. The second primary goal is to
increase parental knowledge and support of science
and mathematics concepts and careers.
