Georgia Learning
Connections (GLC) was developed by the
Georgia Department of Education based on the
Quality Core Curriculum (QCC) standards and
requests by teachers for resources that are
connected to the standards. The Department
of Education formed a partnership with
CEISMC for web and database development.
GLC is a
web-based repository of resources designed
to provide Georgia educators teaching
resources that are connected directly to QCC
standards. The mission is to provide a
dynamic, interactive, online resource that
will enhance and support teaching and
learning in Georgia. QCC is the focal point
from which GLC begins. Georgia teachers are
committed to meeting the educational needs
of their students. GLC will provide the
resources necessary for teachers to
accomplish their goals.
