Welcome to the first "proper" edition of the CEISMC Gazette! We have been hopping around the state of Georgia and soliciting your opinions online (via surveys like this one) in order to better build something that's useful for science and mathematics K-12 educators.

This month, Dr. Ken Sandhage of the Materials Science and Engineering Department at Georgia Tech took the time to provide the bulk of our offerings. Between his interview and laboratory tour, chemistry, physics, engineering, and biology teachers alike should find something of use. We also drop in on a Tifton mathematics teacher, and take a look at the brave new world of entertainment media!

Dr. Ken Sandhage Talks About His Life--and Some Very Tiny Friends
A Video Tour of Dr. Ken Sandhage's Labs
One Math Teacher's Summer Internship in Tifton, Georgia
Living Game Worlds, or, How Everything You Know About Reality is About to be Blown Sky High
