The Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC) (pronounced like "seismic") is a partnership uniting the Georgia Institute of Technology with educational groups, schools, corporations, and opinion leaders throughout the state of Georgia. Our goal is to ensure that K-12 students in Georgia receive the best possible preparation in science, mathematics, engineering, and technology as they seek their place in the modern world.

Research supports the belief  that the economic competitiveness of Georgia and the United States as a whole will be determined by the preparedness of our future work force—the students of today—in the fields of science, mathematics, engineering, and technology (STEM).  CEISMC and its partners are dedicated to igniting the spark that inspires children of all backgrounds to the possibility of STEM careers and to become involved and intrigued in the STEM issues of modern life.
