What is the KIDS
Club?
Georgia Tech’s K.I.D.S. Club is a program
designed to enhance and encourage curiosity and
enthusiasm for science, mathematics, engineering and
technology. Students in grades 2-5 are invited to
join our student-centered, hands-on discovery
sessions on Saturday mornings from 9 am to 12 noon.
During each meeting, students will rotate and
experience three different hour long activities.

When does KIDS
Club meet?
There will be two unique KIDS Club meetings:
a fall meeting and a spring meeting. The activities
at the two fall meetings are identical, and they are
repeated so that more students will be able to
experience these activities. Therefore, choose only
one fall date to attend. The spring meetings are
also identical.
Fall dates: October 24th OR November
14th
Spring dates: January 16th OR February

How much
does it cost to attend?
Individual KIDS Club meetings are $35 a piece, but
if you register for both a fall and spring meeting,
meetings are $30 a piece. ($60 total for both
meetings)

When is payment due?
Payment for the KIDS Club meetings are due
when you send in your registration. Your
registration packet is not complete without payment,
and unfortunately cannot be processed until we
receive it.

How do I register?
Registration consists of three easy steps:
1. Fill out online
registration information
2. Download and print registration
packet
3. Mail completed registration packet
and payment to the CEISMC office
A space cannot be held for your
student until all three steps have been completed.
Simply filling out the online registration
information does not hold a spot.

What if my registration packet is incomplete?
Unfortunately, if your registration packet
is sent incomplete, a space cannot be held for your
student. You will be notified via email of the
missing pieces, and if there are still available
spaces in the program, we will continue to process
your student’s application.

How will I know if my student has been accepted?
We will send out emails on specific dates
(September 18th, September 25th, and October 3rd)
with the applications we have received and
processed.

What is the wait
list?
If all of the KIDS Club meetings are
completely full, we will begin placing students’
names on a wait list on a first come first serve
basis as they are postmarked and received in the
office. The waitlist will be published online so
that you can check your child’s status on the list.
If a space becomes available, we will contact you
directly.

Where does KIDS
Club meet?
All of the KIDS Club meetings are held on
Georgia Tech’s campus.

Could a KIDS Club meeting be cancelled?
While
unlikely, CEISMC reserves the right to cancel a
program at any time for any reason. If this should
happen, a full refund would be issued. CEISMC also
reserves the right to remove students during the
program week for a number of reasons we will
disclose in your acceptance email.

Does my student need to bring anything?
Your student will be provided with
everything they need to complete KIDS Club
activities. They will also be provided with snacks
and a drink while they are here.

grouped?
Students are grouped by age, 2nd/3rd
and 4th/5th.

the program instructors?
Programs are
taught by a mixture of Georgia Tech faculty, Tech
students, and area science and math teachers.

do I get updates about KIDS Club?
We post
updates and important information on the KIDS Club
website. Some information will also be sent via
email. EMAIL IS OUR PRIMARY MEANS OF COMMUNICATION.
It is of the utmost importance that the parent email
address you provide us on your registration is
spelled correctly and checked often.

Will I get a refund if I need to cancel?
Refunds will be granted if you submit your
cancellation via email no less than
two weeks before the KIDS Club meeting takes place.
All cancellations occurring during this time will be
issued a check for the cancelled meeting.
Checks can take anywhere from 2 weeks to a month to
arrive to you, as they must be processed by Georgia
Tech's accounting department. Please email all
