PLEASE
READ CAREFULLY:
Applicants for SummerScape, Jr.
and SummerScape enrichment camps must have a B
average (3.0) in all 1st semester math or science
courses. A copy of the 1st semester report card must
be included with application materials.
Students without a B average may
be admitted. These students must have standardized test
scores in the 70th percentile or above. A copy of
spring 2007 (or later) standardized test scores must be
included with application materials (if applicable).

Step 1 - Apply & Send in Forms
You are applying for possible acceptance of
your student into Georgia Tech's Student Enrichment
Programs (AKA Summer Camps).
Each
individual summer camp has a non-refundable $15
application fee.
List of Forms and Documents

Teacher Recommendation Form
from a current math or science teacher

Application Form and supporting documents (if
applicable)

Completed essay
(HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAMS ONLY):
Write a short essay (500 - 1500 words maximum)
on the following topic:
What single technological advance has affected your
life the most and why?
Paper
forms submitted prior to
completion of the online application
process and receipt of full payment of the
non-refundable $15 application fee per session applied
for will not be considered for application

Step 2 -
Acceptance and Notification
Applications are not considered complete and will NOT be
reviewed until all documentation is received. This
includes completion of the on-line application process,
payment of application fee, a copy of first semester
grades and one teacher recommendation submitted to the
CEISMC Summer Enrichment Programs office, and in the
case of high school programs, the essay submitted by the
student.
To
maximize the student's experience there are a limited
number of slots available for each session.
Applying does not guarantee that your child will be able
to register for the requested summer camp session.
Acceptance e-mails will be sent after applications and
supporting documents are reviewed (approximately two
weeks after the receipt of completed applications).
Step 3 -
Registration
If accepted, you will be sent information on how to
register and pay for the session.
All remaining fees are due no later than two weeks after
being notified of acceptance and are refundable up to
three (3) weeks prior to the beginning of the camp. All
forms must be completed and all fees paid in order for
students to attend.
Payment Information
Credit card and electronic check payments can
be made through the on-line registration process.
Money orders or official bank check only must be made payable to Georgia
Tech
