Taneisha Lee is CEISMC’s Program Director for Student Success Initiatives. Taneisha has worked with CEISMC for over 10 years. She joined CEISMC as a tutor while an undergraduate at Georgia Tech and was later promoted to School Coordinator and Assistant Program Coordinator. Ms. Lee graduated from Georgia Tech with a Bachelors of Science in International Affairs. Upon graduation, Taneisha was offered a full-time position coordinating activities and providing administrative support for three mentoring and tutoring programs. During her years of full-time work at CEISMC, Taneisha incrementally assumed more roles and responsibilities within her position receiving two promotions.
In her current position as Program Director, she directs all operations for the three mentoring and tutoring programs as they partner with 11 schools in the Gwinnett County and Atlanta Public School Systems. The programs provide academic enrichment programs for over 400 students in the Atlanta Public School System and 200 students in Gwinnett County. Taneisha cultivates and manages relationships with all partners including schools, school systems, other colleges and universities, and foundations. She is also tasked with managing the day-to-day operations of the programs and supervising over 60 student employees. Ms. Lee’s responsibilities include program and budget management, writing and monitoring grants, as well as managing the evaluation of the programs. Ms. Lee obtained a Masters of Public Administration with a concentration in Nonprofit Management from Georgia State University’s Andrew Young School of Policy Studies. She is currently completing coursework in Georgia State's Ph.D. in Educational Policy Studies Program with a concentration in Research Measurement and Statistics.
