Meadowcreek RoboMustangs to host FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams for a Regional Tournament

On Saturday December 13, 2014 from 9:00am to 3:00pm the Meadowcreek High School's Robotics team, RoboMustangs, will host the 16 local FIRST LEGO League (FLL) teams for a Regional tournament. This is the first year that the RoboMustangs will host such an event and they expect approximately 250 students and parents to attend the event. As part of the team's outreach efforts they have worked with a couple of the FLL teams from the cluster in preparation for the tournament. The event requires the Middle and Elementary aged teams to prepare an autonomous LEGO robot to complete a number of themed missions in a limited amount of time. The teams are also required to prepare and present a research project based on the yearly theme, this year title World Class and focusing on the styles and technologies to enhance learning. The event will be held in the commons area and is free and open to the public.
