Dr. Dyanne Baptiste Porter is a Research Scientist II at the Georgia Institute of Technology whose work focuses on STEM and engineering education, teacher learning, and interdisciplinary teaching practices. Her research examines how educators integrate mathematics, science, and engineering to support learning experiences and deepen students’ mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills. Drawing on her background in bioengineering and mathematics education, she collaborates with K–12 teachers and researchers to study innovative learning environments that connect mathematics to real-world and engineering contexts. Her teaching and professional learning efforts emphasize inclusive pedagogy, interdisciplinary inquiry, and the development of educators’ pedagogical content knowledge.
