Antibiotics: Discovery, Resistance, and Alternatives

Faculty from the School of Biological Sciences host researchers from Georgia Tech and nearby institutions, including the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) who work on antibiotics. Discussions will cover discovery, resistance, and alternative strategies. The goal is to initiate broad exchange of ideas and approaches from various fields, including ecology/evolution, public health, molecular microbiology, and clinical medicine.

The organizers are Sam Brown, Steve Diggle, Kristofer Wollein Waldetoft, and Marvin Whiteley. The College of Sciences has provided support for the meeting.

The conference is free but registration is required. Register here.
