The College of Sciences at Fermentation Fest ATL 2017

It's fine under the brine. Join faculty from the College of Sciences for a day of science and family fun in Decatur Square.

Michael Evans, of the School of Chemistry and Biochemistry, will demonstrate how a hydrometer can be used to measure alcohol content. 

Jennifer Leavey, of the School of Biological Sciences, will demonstrate how the pH of a kombucha culture changes over time.

Will Ratcliff, of the School of Biological Sciences, will demonstrate how yeast is a model for the evolution of multicellularity.
