CEISMC K.I.D.S. Club and STEAM Workshops

Georgia Tech CEISMC K.I.D.S. (Kids Interested in Discovering STEAM) Club online offers workshops for kids in the 4th and 5th grade who are interested in discovering more about science, technology, engineering, arts and math! The "To The History Makers and Those They Inspire" workshop will allow students to engage in a STEAM activity that celebrates Sarah E. Goode. Sarah E. Goode was one of the first African-American women to receive a U.S. Patent for her invention of a folding cabinet bed.

Georgia Tech's CEISMC STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) Workshops are workshops for students in 6th-12th grade. The STEAM Workshops encourage students to study and pursue a career in the STEAM fields by exposing them to many different topics of science, technology, and engineering. The "To The History Makers and Those They Inspire" workshop will encourage students to think like a NASA space mission planner and create a Moon or Mars exploration game using Scratch visual programming language.
