CEISMC is the Code.org Regional Partner for the State of Georgia. The goals of our partnership are to:
- Establish partnerships with local districts and schools to prepare K-12 teachers to lead effective computer science classrooms.
- Organize and host quality, local workshops for districts and schools implementing Code.org’s K-12 programs, with Code.org-accredited facilitators.
- Support, grow, and sustain the local community of K-12 computer science educators.
- Remove barriers to achieving equity in K-12 CS Education.
COVID-19 Update: We hope you and your loved ones are all well and healthy at this difficult time. As you know planning for the upcoming summer is full of uncertainty still. We are hoping to offer CS Fundamentals, CS Discoveries, and CS Principles workshops in-person, but there is a possibility that they will be offered into a blended-learning virtual online experience during the week of July 19 - July 23, 2021. The four school-year sessions for CSD and CSP will include virtual and in-person options. As we develop more details, we'll be sure to share.
