The School and Community Engagement group at CEISMC located at GA Tech has a Federal Work Study position available to help organize and support our Fall 2019 and Spring 2020 outreach programs for K-12 teachers and students. Students who are organized and detail-oriented with experience in event planning, outreach education, or STEAM-related topics (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Mathematics) are encouraged to apply.
The positions is as follows:
- A student to assist with research administration and evaluation of our outreach programs: This Work Study student will focus on extending their competencies in professional communication while working on areas that range from qualitative data collection and analysis to literature reviews and program summaries. The position is available for fall and spring semester and requires regular office hours as well as independently driven project development totaling no more than 20 hours per week. To be competitive for this position, you’ll need to be proficient in basic software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and know or be prepared to quickly develop more advanced proficiencies as your projects require. We are especially interested in applicants with an interest in research and writing.
